Diocese Welcomes Ecumenical Action on Refugees by Chichester Diocese
The Diocese of Arundel & Brighton recently welcomed the initiative of the Anglican Diocese of Chichester in its work for refugees and in supporting Brighton Voices in Exile which is based in the Catholic church of St Mary Magdalen in Brighton.
Bishop Richard had already issued a joint statement with the Anglican Bishop of Chichester, Rt Rev Martin Warner to sit alongside his Pastoral Message in September to all parishes in this Diocese.
A spokesperson for the Diocese of Arundel & Brighton said "It is good to see that Christians can come together and all contribute towards helping refugees. It shows the gospel in action as Christians sharing in our common baptismal call to love both God and neighbour."
