Remuneration: £1500 per annum, plus coaching and singing training

Worth Abbey, a Community of English Benedictine monks living a life of Prayer & Hospitality – with a vibrant Parish and Retreat House is looking for Choral Scholar to join the Abbey Choir every Sunday morning.

The Abbey is seeking singers of any voice part with good sight-reading skills who respond well to coaching and feedback. Applicants should show an interest in developing their skills and should be punctual to rehearsals and occasions when the choir is singing.

In return, they offer up to £1,500 a year per Choral Scholar as well as individual coaching and singing training. They offer flexibility in terms of ‘time off’ where holidays and absences can be arranged in advance.

The Abbey envisages these scholarships to be particularly useful for experience and CV building – whether that be for University applications or for future careers & vocations in general.
