All clergy, employees and volunteers working with vulnerable groups, including children, must adhere to the Catholic Church's national safeguarding policies before they can be appointed. The Diocese provides a range of safeguarding training: our face-to-face training programme is available on request for weekday daytime sessions where a group of volunteers, who may not be able to access the online training or find it difficult to use, can arrange a suitable time and place by contacting the Safeguarding Office.
