Dear Staff and Pupils,
Once again as we come out of lockdown arising from the Covid-19 Pandemic all our schools are opening their doors to welcome everybody back. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for the work that has been going on in recent months for the many children who have been in school and for everything that has been done to support learning at home. Our schools are a wonderful gift for so many during these difficult times.
The work to get everything ready for today’s return has been demanding on all our staffs. A “big thank you” for all you are doing.
If I may say a word to the children in the school: If you have been at home during the lockdown welcome back. I know you will be pleased to be with your friends and have lots of things to share. Take care of one another and be careful about handwashing and all the other things we must do to keep each other safe.
I have missed being able to visit schools for a long time now and hope that it won’t be long before I can start doing that again. Be assured of my prayers for you all as you return to school and look forward to the wonderful Feast of Easter.
