Calling all diocesan Catechists - Do you know that Pope Francis has been talking and writing specifically about YOU? In his recent letter, Antiquum Ministerium, Pope Francis takes time to celebrate and encourage Catechists in their work, establishing the Ministry of Catechist as a specific role within the Church.
The Diocese is extremely grateful for the important work that Catechists carry out across our parishes, especially during this difficult time of Covid-19 restrictions. Bishop Richard is inviting all Catechists, and those who feel called to this work, to a day at Worth Abbey, exploring this call from Pope Francis. Speaking about the upcoming event, Deacon Jon Harman from the diocesan Formation Team said "The Day for Catechists will provide a fantastic opportunity for inspiration and encouragement, helping Arundel & Brighton Catechists in the important work they undertake across our community of faith.'
