The diocesan Education Service is delighted to announce that Jess Mall has been voted in as new National Coordinator of the Association of Catholic Chaplains in Education (ACCE).
Jess, who is on the chaplaincy team at St George’s Weybridge joins Jo Doyle, St Richard’s Catholic College, Bexhill, on the Executive. Jo was voted in during the Summer of 2022. It is fantastic to have The Diocese of Arundel & Brighton so well represented in these positions.
The Association of Catholic Chaplains in Education was founded in 1993 with the approval of the Bishops of England & Wales and the Catholic Education Service. Its aims are: to support the spiritual, pastoral welfare and professional development of chaplains in schools and colleges; to promote the establishment and development of chaplaincies in all schools and colleges; to provide a channel of communication between chaplains and the Bishops’ Conference of England & Wales, its departments and agencies, and to network with other agencies working in education and with young people.
