The A&B Charismatic Diocesan Service of Communion team launch 2024 seminars.

During the recent A&B Charismatic Diocesan Service of Communion (CDSC) launch event it was decided to offer a regular opportunities for the broad Charismatic community across the diocese to gather. The first 'A&B Lighthouse' event, with speaker Joe Livingston, will take place on Saturday 11 November, 2pm - 6pm - the location is yet to be confirmed but is likely to be in Crawley. Joe has a Charismatic healing ministry and teaches across the UK and Internationally. The occasion will offer an opportunity for the Charismatic community from across the Diocese to come together to worship, celebrate Mass and to pray together. Contact the CDSC team to find out more.

'The Promise of the Father' Seminar Series

The CDSC team are also preparing for the first Diocesan Life in the Spirit seminar series called 'The Promise of the Father'. This is a very exciting event for the diocese as a whole; the seminar programme will be held at Arundel Cathedral Centre and the Cathedral itself, and will also be available online for remote participation.


The 2024 programme is as follows:


  • Wednesday 10 April - Session 1: The New Eve, 8pm - 9.30pm
  • Wednesday 17 April - Session 2: Salvation, 8pm - 9.30pm
  • Wednesday 24 April - Session 3: A New Life, 8pm - 9.30pm
  • Wednesday 8 May - Session 4: Receiving the Promise of the Father, 8pm - 9.30pm
  • Wednesday 15 May - Session 5: Mission, 8 - 9.30pm
  • Saturday 18 May - Session 6: Pentecost Vigil at the Cathedral, 6pm - 8pm with Mass, Reconciliation, Adoration, and the Laying on of Hands for Baptism in the Holy Spirit
  • Thursday 23 May - Session 7: Build my Church, 8pm - 9.30pm

Bishop Richard has been confirmed as the speaker for Session 7 with Joe Livingston the speaker at the Pentecost Vigil Service at the Cathedral. Other speakers will be confirmed over the coming weeks.

Getting involved


  • Please pray for Charismatic Renewal and for the Life in the Spirit seminar series, that CDSC may bring about an active missionary and expectant faith across our Diocese.
  • Invite your respective groups, communities and friends to the A&B Lighthouse event on Saturday 11 November - further details to follow soon.
  • CDSC are keen to find people with wonderful faith stories about Charismatic renewal who can record or deliver a testimony.
  • Are you able to volunteer? CDSC also need around 40+ remote and in person: Small Group Leaders, Venue Welcomers, Venue Hospitality, Technology and Broadcast Support (video and audio).
