Congratulations to St Andrew’s Catholic School in Leatherhead, St Peter’s Catholic School in Guildford, Salesian School in Chertsey and St Paul’s Catholic College in Burgess Hill for being included in the top 30 comprehensive schools nationally in The Times/Sunday Times Parent Power Guide.
The Guide identifies more than 1,600 of the highest-achieving state and private schools, ranked by their most recent moderated examination results.
In the Parent Power list, St Andrew’s was ranked second among national comprehensive schools after its outstanding results. St Peter's was ranked 11th, Salesian 20th and St Paul’s 29th. Headteachers at these and the equally fantastic other schools in the Diocese emphasise that it is the faith-based sense of nurture and gospel values that helps students to excel and flourish.
Also placed in the list of the top ten schools nationally [for schools without a sixth form or with a new sixth form] was St Richard’s Catholic College in Bexhill.
Congratulations to all our diocesan schools on the exam successes achieved.
