Fr Tony Lovegrove celebrated his 90th birthday on 15 September with a special celebration attended by Fr Graham Ricketts, and parishioners from the Parish of Adur Valley.

Reflecting after the celebration, Fr Tony said:

"It was lovely to see parishioners from St Peter's and The Towers joining those who had come to Christ the King for Mass. There was a wonderful spread in the St Cuthman’s Room and we 'overflowed the space' into the garden. Many thanks to those who gave me birthday cards – some wishing me well for the next decade! I wonder where we’ll have a party for that birthday? Thank you so much [and] God bless."
