The community at St Richard’s Catholic College, Bexhill gathered at the school on 13 May for the Induction Mass for the newly appointed  Principal, Paul Barber.

The Mass was celebrated by Bishop Richard, accompanied by Fr Kevin Dring, Canon Kieron O’Brien and Fr Chris Benyon.

Colleagues from the deanery and beyond, Bosco CET and the diocesan Education Service joined staff, parents and students for the Mass, during which the choir sang a new psalm setting, composed by Martin Foster, Director of the Liturgy Office.

Following a career in secondary education, Paul was until recently Head at Our Lady of Lourdes in Rottingdean before taking up the post as Principal at St Richard’s.
