Join our diocesan Ecumenical Walking Pilgrimage group on a mini-pilgrimage over the May Bank Holiday weekend (29 April – 2 May 2022). The 3 night trip begins in Arundel, with stops at Duncton, Chiddingfold, and Guildford.

Pilgrims walk 15 miles a day at a moderate pace, sharing and worshipping as an ecumenical Christian community and recognising our common Christian mission to know and serve the Lord. Our group prays in churches, follows footpaths, stop at pubs for lunch, and sleeps on the floor in church or community halls.

Experience the amazing personal and community value of going on a pilgrimage where the journey: laughing, sharing, praying, and singing, is as important as the destination.

Additional details:

o   The pilgrimage costs £50 with breakfast and dinner included for overnight bookings.

o   Pilgrims are asked to make their own way (at their own cost) to Arundel, and from Guildford.

o   The pilgrimage is open to everyone although under 16s must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

o   Pilgrims’ luggage will be transported by van with attendees encouraged to carry a daypack or rucksack.
