The first of the "Leading in Faith" days was held at Ladywell Franciscan Centre, and leaders in a variety of posts from around the diocese gathered to embark on a new joint initiative with the diocesan Education Service, Bosco Catholic Education Trust (CET) and Xavier CET.
Keynote speakers were Dave Carter, Bosco CEO, who opened with "The purpose of Catholic education"; Sam Crome, Director of Education at Xavier CET, who spoke about his own faith formation and the need to nurture one’s faith as a leader, and Patrick Doyle who was the day's "Leader in the Hotseat’."
Participants will gather for two further days later in the year and in the meantime, they have all been invited to access Spiritual Accompaniment, offered by the A&B Spirituality Network and theological formation, by completing the first module of the Masters in Catholic Leadership with St Mary’s University.
Thank you to the team at Ladywell for their hospitality.
