Our annual Evenings of Reflection for diocesan Confirmation and Youth Groups are back!

Bring your group to join Bishop Richard and Lizzie Wakeling, our Youth Adviser, for an evening of prayer, reflection and a little bit of fun! Lizzie will talk to our young people about the need to listen to God's word in our lives, with Bishop Richard helping them to explore experience and  Lectio Divina. Speaking about these very popular evenings Lizzie said:

“Evenings of Reflection provide a fantastic opportunity for our young people to meet Bishop Richard before they receive the Sacrament of Confirmation, it’s also a chance to meet with other young people from across the Diocese, helping them to understand that the Church is bigger than just their Parish. We have a great time playing games, learning to pray with the Bible, and hopefully being inspired in our faith!”

‍Friday 3 February at St Martha’s Catholic Church, Bexhill on Sea, East Sussex TN39 4SL

Friday 17 March at The Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Cobham, Surrey KT11 1AA

‍Friday 24 March at St Dunstan's Catholic Church, Woking, Surrey GU22 7DT

Saturday 11 March at 6.30pm at Arundel Cathedral Centre, West Sussex BN18 9AY - followed by a fantastic Cathedral tour.

These events are open to all young people who are part of an organised Confirmation or Youth group. If you are under 18 and would like to attend independently, please ask your parent or carer to contact our Youth Adviser, Lizzie E: lizzie.wakeling@abdiocese.org.uk. Refreshments will be provided.
