During October we honour Mary the mother of God and we also celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary on 7 October. We invite you to spend some time teaching the children about the Rosary and praying it together. We remind you of the resources that we have to support you with praying the Rosary together which you can find here >>>
Aid to the Church in Need would like to invite schools, nurseries, parishes, and families throughout the UK to join their annual ‘One Million Children Praying the Rosary’ Prayer Campaign.
Join children around the world in coming together in prayer for unity and peace. It is an invitation to remember the words of Our Lady of Fatima that the childlike and trusting prayer of the Rosary can truly change the world and bring peace. For more information, supporting resources including leaflets on how to pray the rosary and to register your school’s prayers, follow the link here >>>
Help our youngest children to learn more about Our Lady through the books of Anthony DeStefano. ‘Our Lady’s Wardrobe’ is a simple and beautiful way to introduce them to the apparitions of Mary the mother of God, all over the world through the simple idea of what she wore when she appeared to people of different places and eras. ‘Our Lady’s Picture Book’ is a way of looking back – with Mary – at the key moments in her life – through her very own picture book. A lovely visual way for children to learn about Mary’s life on earth and her life as the mother of Jesus.
