This week, Salesian School, Chertsey, was awarded a plaque by the Schools, Students and Teachers network (SSAT) to celebrate the school's achievement of "Transforming" status in all 12 strands of the SSAT's Framework for Exceptional Education, - one of only a handful of schools in the country to do so.
Salesian School is deeply committed to providing exceptional education that nurtures and inspires its students. The school's dedication to teaching great lessons and fostering a loving environment for the children in its care has been recognised nationally and it is honoured to be accredited by the Schools, Students and Teachers Network as a Leading Edge school.
The school's approach is guided by the SSAT's Framework for Exceptional Education, which helps it continuously to improve its teaching methods and student support. The framework covers 12 key areas of education, including Teaching and Learning, Professional Practice, Wellbeing, and Leadership.
Sharing the news of its achievement, the school said:
"This achievement reflects our unwavering commitment to our students. Every day, we strive to deliver engaging, innovative lessons that spark curiosity and a love for learning. More importantly, we create a nurturing atmosphere where each child feels loved, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential."
A spokesperson for the school also said:
"What better way to end a wonderful half term than to celebrate the achievements of our students and staff. A special thanks to Mrs Matthews for being a tremendous spearhead in education framework at Salesian."
