Both St Peter’s Catholic School in Guildford and the Artventure Trust were delighted to welcome a royal visitor on Wednesday 7 June, when HRH The Duchess of Edinburgh dropped in to Artventure’s purpose-built studio within the grounds of St Peter’s.
Artventure is a Guildford based charity that supports adults with learning disabilities, physical impairments, or autism, to be creative, have fun, and make new friends in a safe and sociable environment.
Headteacher, Toby Miller, said “It was an honour to receive her Royal Highness.” The Duchess met the staff and volunteers, and spent time with the participants, before joining in with an art activity."
