Students and staff at St Wilfrid's Catholic School had a visit from the Rt Hon Gillian Keegan, Secretary State for Education last Friday. The Conservative MP for Chichester came to discuss children's mental health with the secondary school's Headteacher Michael Ferry and the school's Mental Health Team, as part of Children's Mental Health Week.
Speaking about the meeting, Mr Ferry said:
“It was an extremely positive visit. The Secretary of State recognised the work we are doing and articulated her desire to press ahead with educational improvements.”
