Congratulations to the two diocesan primary schools in West Sussex that joined the Bosco Catholic Education Trust (CET) on 1 October 2022.
Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Primary School, a two-form entry school in Crawley and St Peter’s Catholic Primary School, a one-form entry school in Shoreham become the sixth and seventh academies in the Bosco CET.
Our Lady’s and St Peter’s join the three primary academies (St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in Haywards Heath, St Mary’s Catholic Primary School in Worthing, Annecy Catholic Primary School in Seaford) and two secondary academies (St Paul’s Catholic College in Burgess Hill, St Philip Howard Catholic School in Barnham) in the Bosco Trust.
Catholic schools in Arundel & Brighton have a long tradition of working collaboratively. Bosco Catholic Education Trust was established in April 2017 to bring together more formally any Catholic schools in West Sussex, East Sussex and Brighton & Hove that wished to do so. The aim of Bosco CET is to provide an education which is second to none for all children within Sussex specifically and more widely the Diocese. Both Bosco CET and the Xavier CET in Surrey seek to further enhance and strengthen the partnership between our Catholic family of schools and to preserve and protect all that we value and cherish in our communities.
